General: Yoshiki is a crazy person (I guess he was doomed, related by blood to *both* Chieko and Takaeyama...). I was really trying to capture the almost ridiculous contradictions of his character in one picture. There's something almost clownish about him... until he starts shooting things. That happens a lot.

Appearance: I must've done about 15 sketches of Yoshiki before I was finally satisfied. Chieko and Kieran look nothing alike, but I really wanted to capture his relationship to the both of them. I had a good idea what he looked like in my mind, but making it work on paper was another story. I'm not sure why I'm amused that he has Chieko's nose.

Ummm... Nice pants?: If Yoshiki was a real boy, I'd take him shopping. Seriously, he looks ridiculous. I'm not all that satisfied with the stripes on the trousers, but I guess that's something I can go back and fix later. I am, however, positive that I'll never be able to convince him to dress like a normal person.

Where is he?: He's in his studio at Sirrah's headquarters. The crates in the background are full of weapons (what else?). The map on the wall is a map of the northern half of Diasminion.

The sign: I threw that into the sketch as a joke, but it really did seem to be something that he'd hang up, so I ended up leaving it in. If you couldn't read it clearly, it says: "Sculpture *NOT BOMBS*" It really is a sculpture... of his girlfriend... awww...
