Yesterday's News:

Quote of the Week: "Another fucking dodgy scene I fell into. That's what politics does for you..." -from Irvine Welsh's Glue RE: Life in General

July 20th, 2008

Hi and hey. Things are moving along at a pretty decent pace these days. I keep getting sidetracked by that enormous project I mentioned last week... If I end up following through with it, it'll probably end up changing the face of this site quite a bit. I'm still kind of in the "wait and see" phase... In updates, Clint finally reaches an end to his long and winding tale. What does Rory think of this monologue? We'll find out next week. In the gallery are the last of the portraits for The Dark Oath- Quen and Hironah, both of whom bear rather strong resemblances to their respective moms. TDO is coming along. I'm not sure what kind of update I'll have on offer for you guys next week as I'm off to Kyushu on a school trip with the kiddies for most of it, then a school fishing trip on Sunday. Hopefully after next week I'll be able to give a bit more insight on launch dates for a variety of new stuff that I've got going on. Remains to be seen... That's all for now!

Quote of the Week: "The more I want, the less I am. The more I try, the less I reach. All has to be- I have to let it be." -from "Behind the Fog" by Project Pitchfork RE: Life in General

July 13, 2008

Hello to all! I think updates are going to be officially moved to Sunday... it's easier now with the new work schedule. This week's update is small... I did a bit of an overhaul of some parts of the site, i.e.: weeding out old work from the gallery that's not really relevant anymore. There's a link up for "The Dark Oath" now at the top of the page. In the gallery is a picture of Seiken. I'm hoping to get the last two done next week, so all the portraits for TDO are completed and I can move on to building the character pages. I can't give an exact launch date yet for the story itself, but it'll be coming up soon. In other news I started a *behemoth* of a new project, which will remain secret (hee hee) until I'm ready to reveal what it is. ^.^ All I can say is, it's big. Very big. One of the reasons for my rather meager update this week is that I took the day off yesterday to go to the beach with a coworker. It was a party, so of course I probably managed to offend a whole crew of people with my ridiculous social ineptness! I did have a good time, however, and had a couple of interesting experiences... including being stung by jellyfish! Hooray! (No sarcasm, I thought it was cool...) That's about all there is to report for now. See you next week with a bigger update. Enjoy whatever's going on!

Quote of the Week: "And I believe that we'll conceive to make in hell for us a heaven- a brave new world, a promised land, a fortitude of hearts and minds." -from "Kingdom" by VNV Nation RE: The end of Encircle the Sun...

July 7, 2008

Happy Tanabata, for anyone out there who might be celebrating the Star Festival. And I guess I should also add a "Happy Belated 4th!" for all my American readers. And Happy Belated Canada Day for the Canadians. Oooff... I hope I didn't forget anyone. Updates this week are as follows: The YH Comic: Clint and Luci hang out. The epilogue of Encircle is up, giving a little insight into the futures of the remaining Champions. And in the gallery, a picture of TDO's Yume. Not much in the news department, other than "It's *summer*!" Yay! See you next week!

Quote of the Week: "We've been dancing in a circle, we gather round the candles of each one of us. I found myself wishing for just one more second. Let our souls guide us." -from ELLEGARDEN's "Dancing in a Circle" RE: Encircle the Sun

June 30, 2008

That's all folks! Encircle the Sun is *over*. After spending a third of my life working on it, it's finally done. There was much whooping and shouting going on in my apartment last night. ^.^ This week our story comes to a close, leaving what remains of the Champions to face their futures. Unless of course I was totally evil and let the world be devoured. -.- You'll just have to read it and find out. Next week I'll be posting an epilogue to the story, for anyone who wants to know a little more about whatever happened to Diasminion and its Champions. In other news, I finished a picture of Kaiya this week. I have no idea why, but I'm quite fond of him. His is the latest addition to the series of portraits for The Dark Oath. TDO's pages will start going up as soon as I wrap up with the portrait series. I'll be posting character pages first, then either a preview, or the official start of the story. I have yet to decide. As for Yesterday's Horoscope, this week Clint meets an exceedingly friendly waitress... That's all the news for now! Have a wonderful week and see you next Monday!
